About the beach

Bar Beach (south) in Narooma, located on Centenary Drive, is one of the safest beaches for people of all abilities to swim along the Eurobodalla's coastline. Its naturally enclosed and protected position at the mouth of the Wagonga Inlet is further enhanced by the break-wall at its northern end.

Facilities include a picnic area, accessible toilet, a large carpark, children's play equipment, a boat ramp, and barbecues.

It is not uncommon to spot seals and large sting rays near the boat ramp and fish cleaning tables. At the western end of the picnic area, you will find the Mill Bay boardwalk that leads you to Narooma around Wagonga Inlet.
