About the beach
Flanked by parklands, a playground, water park and accessible shade and barbeque facilities, this is a lovely beach. There is also salt water swimming pool on the stunning Kings Beach foreshore is equipped with shade sails and has a free 25-metre sea-water lap pool, children’s swimming pool and wading area which is accessible.
A beach wheelchair that can travel on sand without beach matting is available for hire from Compass Institute. This service is available all year round except for public holidays. You will need to complete a hire agreement and pay a refundable deposit of $20. Book with Compass Institute from Monday to Friday between 9:00am and 3:30pm, phone (07) 5438 2627.
