About the beach
Jetty Beach is a protected beach which is popular with both locals and tourists alike, especially families. A mobi-mat is in place year-round excepting during rough sea conditions. 2 Hippocampe beach wheelchairs are available for booking. Council also offers a lifeguard service during the December to January holiday period. Behind Jetty Beach you will find the Jetty Foreshores Park. The park has showers, toilets, barbecues, popular picnic shelter areas, pathways for roller blades and bicycles and children's playgrounds. The Foreshores area consists of the Jetty restaurant strip, Marina, Yacht Club and the railway station is also within close walking distance.
