About the beach
A beautiful beach that has it all including a tree-covered boardwalk that is wheelchair accessible. With plenty of shops and restaurants surrounding the beach, this is a gorgeous spot to visit.
There are plenty of accessible facilities and beach access equipment, as well as an accessible bathroom with shower inside the Cairns SLSC building, through the restaurant, which can be accessed via the front ramp opposite the swimming flagged area. The restaurant is open daily from 11am with staff usually onsite from 9am. You can also gain access via the back entrance by parking in the rear car park. If you have any questions, the Lifeguard or Life Savers on duty will be happy to help.
