About the beach
The Rockingham Foreshore features a Beach Plaza with a range of recreational, cultural and heritage attractions, a boardwalk featuring timber terraces, and an accessible ‘Lookout’ and ‘Beach Bowl’ have been created, giving all visitors the chance to take greater advantage of the foreshore’s north-facing beach and expansive parklands which can be transformed into a space for concerts and events. There are cafes and restaurants right on the beach also.
