About the beach
A vibrant foreshore area with wide, flat pathways all the way along, featuring accessible seating, a playground and lots of places to eat. There is a DDA compliant ramp down to the beach and long legths of beach matting down to the hard sand. 2 accessible car parking spaces on Colley Terrace opposite Augusta street, with a 308 metre walk or wheel to the accessible beach ramp down to the beach. There are two accessible bathrooms located between The Beachouse and the Bay Discovery Centre, which are easily accessible from the main promenade next to the playground. There is a Changing Places facility at 4 Nile Street Glenelg, which is 700 metres away. Beach wheelchairs are avaiable when Estara runs beach access days.
